After a few months of fund raising the time was upon the team to take on the Tough Mudder 2018 challenge for McMillan Cancer Support on Saturday 16th June. This charity is close to our SSM family as it has been great support to our Practice Manager through her ongoing battle with Breast Cancer. The work of the McMillan Cancer Support staff is second to none and helps so many family, friends and the wider reaching network of colleagues suffering from this awful disease every single day and it was a pleasure to give a little back. Sixteen brave staff rallying from the front raised at magnificent £5,250 through very kind donations from family, friends, consultants and clients and we thank you all for your support. As you can see we enjoyed every minute of the challenge apart from the “how did the mud get there” after the event.
