We’re thrilled to be a finalist for ESG Refurbishment of the Year at the Scottish Property Awards with McDonald Road Community Fire Station.
Now the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service’s City of Edinburgh Headquarters, our design rationalised the building, creating a series of connected spaces, operating as a fire station, office, and museum. To avoid demolition, we remodelled and retrofitted the retained existing concrete frame saving estimated 150 tCO2e compared to demolition.
Well done to everyone shortlisted, we are looking forward to the awards ceremony in February.
