Planning Success for Burdiehouse

Proposals for 49 new affordable homes on the former Community Centre site on Burdiehouse Crescent are a step closer following the Development Management Committee’s minded to grant decision.

Prepared on behalf of CCG for City of Edinburgh Council the proposals will provide much-needed housing within Edinburgh offering a range of accommodation from 1-bed flats to 3-bed homes.

Forming a crescent to the street edge allows for a much-improved open green space to be provided at the centre of this development. Residents (both new and existing) using this green space, will also have access to through the development connecting into Burdiehouse Burn Local Nature Reserve.
