Working with Cruden Group, our Silverlea project has been approved by City of Edinburgh Council planners to create 142 affordable new homes in north Edinburgh.
The masterplan includes a mix of terraced colony houses and 4-storey flatted blocks addressing Muirhouse Parkway. Set amongst mature trees and specifically designed to enhance mature landscape, the development will deliver a mix of social and mid-market rent homes as well as a number of wheelchair accessible homes. Use of blue-green roofs throughout will enhance the biodiversity of the site and a fabric first and renewables strategy will reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.
The project will improve and regenerate the existing landscape and the enhanced open space will be made accessible to all. A new Clubroom and changing facilities will also be built for Craigroyston Community Youth Football Club.
