As a landscape architect, I have provided expertise on a wide variety of projects, from residential developments to civic spaces, conservation areas, and masterplans. My creative process typically includes being involved from the early stages of a project, working closely with clients and architects to understand their requirements. Much of the initial landscape survey work requires a knowledge of landscape assessment and biodiversity.
I often participate in public consultation and engagement events and liaise with contractors on site to ensure that high-quality landscape solutions are delivered for our clients. I have a keen interest in historic landscapes and am Chair of a historic buildings trust, as well as a founder member and trustee of Scotland’s Garden and Landscape Heritage.
In my free time, I enjoy gardening and keeping bees as well as archery and hitting the slopes on my skis.
