We hosted our second packed AECB + Friends event last week discussing timber construction, in the context of operational and embodied carbon as well as practical delivery.
Christine kicked things off talking about CLT Modular Housing, followed by talks from contractors Euan McDermott and Brian Watters discussing the nitty gritty details from a contractors point of view on their Passive House timber construction projects. Last but definitely not least, Peter Wilson a power house of timber knowledge, challenged us all to think bigger than the business-as-usual everyday timber kit construction.
