PARTICIPATION IN DESIGN
Participation in Design is now a key component in many large scale developments, and our practice has been involved in this field since our earliest projects. We have developed our approach to encompass most project types and have been recently involved in carrying out participation workshops to develop an integrated services strategy for public services in Leith.
No projects are identical and an individual participation strategy requires to be evolved for each, balancing the degree of dissemination, consultation and participation appropriately for every case. Eugene Mullan (pictured) recently delivered a paper on this subject to the Parliamentary Cross Party Group on Architecture and lectured at a major conference in Valencia.
